FBI Data Reveals Most Dangerous Cities, Including This Montana City
There is a lot of doom and gloom on the nightly news about how crime is rampant and climbing.
We like to think we're insulated from some of those images you see on TV, but one Montana city has landed on the FBI's list of some of the most dangerous cities in America.
When it comes to crime in America in 2023, you might be surprised to hear, it actually is down from a year to year basis.
Violent crime, which included homicide, rape, robbery and aggravated assault, are all down across the board.
There is one type of crime that is on the rise however, and that is property crime.
Burglary, larceny, arson and motor vehicle theft all count as property crimes.

Drug Use Is High Here Leading To More Crime
The website A Piece Of Travel released the list of 35 cities that were some of the most dangerous in America.
How did they determine this information, straight from the FBI themselves:
The data pulled is based on the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reporting Program. Rates of property and violent crimes were factored into determining the city rankings based on estimated populations.
After looking at that data there was just one Montana town that made the list, and it comes in ranked at #30.
