Here are some of our favorite yard games:

  • Cornhole- It's a simple and easy game you can buy at any sporting-goods store. Cornhole can be played by any age group and can be enjoyed all day. Many folks customize their boards and bags to add flair to their yard game.
  • Can-Jam- This game involves a frisbee and a large garbage can. That's it. You work in teams of two and find out who is horrible at throwing a frisbee. Some sporting-goods stores have these for sale, but if you want to save money, you can go the cheap route.
  • Trout- This is one of the best drinking games to play with a big group of people. It's essentially the game HORSE, but instead of shooting a basketball, you are all tossing a beer to each other. You must have a beer or beverage in your dominant hand while you toss another can between players with your non-dominant hand. First-person to collect all five letters by dropping the beer five times has to chug the beverage that's being tossed around.

If you plan a little party, make sure you acquire some yard games to make your festivities even better.
