We received word today (6/30) that Maroon 5 is canceling their summer tour, including the date that was scheduled for August 8 at MetraPark. At this time, the Metra's ticket link is still active but according to an email we received from the concert promoter, the tour is off. Kristine Simoni, regional director of marketing for Live Nation wrote,

Unfortunately the band is canceling their tour.

No further details were provided. The band's Facebook page revealed no clues as to why the tour is canceled. The last post was on June 10, promoting the release of their latest album Jordi. That news was also shared on their official Twitter account.

Only two dates remain on the Maroon 5 website.

Currently, two dates are still up on the band's website. A show on July 9th in Quebec, and an August 25 date in Orlando. When I clicked the "show more dates" button, there weren't any other cities shown.

Refunds should happen automatically.

If you bought tickets through MetraPark you should automatically get a refund. You can see Metra's refund policy HERE. A representative from the box office told me that the Billings show basically sold out on the first day the tickets went on sale a few months ago. We're bummed the tour won't be coming to the Treasure State. It's not that often that we get top-tier Pop/Top 40 acts in Montana.
