Inaugural Montana Comic Con Announces First Special Guest

Organizers with the Montana Celebrity Comic Con have announced the second celebrity guest for the event coming in September.

Martin Kove, probably best known for his role as the villain Sansai Jon Kreese in the popular Karate Kid movies and Cobra Kai television show.  The veteran actor of movies and television will be appearing with C. Thomas Howell at the inaugural event.

Get Ready for Stars, Cosplay and More for the Montana Celebrity Comic Con

Montana has been home to many a different fest, con, music event and more, but I don't ever remember a full-on version of one the most popular gatherings of fans out there.  That of comics, the themes and characters all coming to life together, in person.

A new event is coming to the state this fall, and I am hoping it will be everything that the group says it will be.  Including screenings, cosplay and even celebrity appearances by Hollywood actors.

Inaugural Montana Celebrity Comic Con Coming to Bozeman in September

The inaugural event will be coming to the Gallatin County Fairgrounds in Bozeman, Montana.  Scheduled dates for the Montana Celebrity Comic Con are September 5th and 6th, 2026.

The event is being hyped as "the ultimate pop culture celebration, bringing together the biggest names in TV, movies, anime, gaming, and comics for an unforgettable weekend".  Event organizers also offered a look at other activities:

massive vendor hall filled with collectibles, merchandise, and artwork, plus an exciting gaming and esports zone. Cosplayers can showcase their best looks in a high-energy contest, while attendees get access to exclusive screenings, sneak peeks, and special events.

Iconic Actor from "The Outsiders" is First Celebrity Guest Announced

The Comic Con has just recently announced the first celebrity guest that will be on hand for the event, with many fans remembering him from his iconic role in the Francis Ford Coppola's "The Outsiders" as Pony Boy Curtis:

Actor C. Thomas Howell will be on hand for the Comic Con, and yes, there will be meet and greets and photo opportunities with him and other, to be announced celebrities at the show.  Information and tickets are available online here.
