Does This Mean No More Papa Burgers in Great Falls?

One of my favorite memories of spending time with my grandmother when I was young was not only the places, but also the places we ate at.  One in particular though was always a favorite.

With frosty mugs of root beer goodness, wonderful onion rings, tots or fries and always a cool video game to play once your food was finished.  Ball pits?  Never.  We had aliens to destroy and planets to defend.  At least until the quarters from grandmother ran out.

Great Falls Kentucky Fried Chicken/A&W Appears to Be Changing

If you haven't been to the westside of Great Falls lately, you probably didn't know that our local Kentucky Fried Chicken and A&W is taking on a bit of a different look as of late.

And with the entire building missing any type of signage or color beside the big bucket on a pole in front, it is kind of creepy.

Are KFC and A&W Staying Together in Great Falls?

I was unable to contact our local store upon this writing to confirm whether or not A&W was still going to be a part of the remodel.  Listings on the internet through each chain's website indicate that it is.

What had me wondering about the possibility of that liquid gold root beer leaving was the status of the previous sign:

My hope is despite the holes in it, the sign will be recovered and placed back on the building.  And we in Great Falls will get to continue on with Papa burgers, onion rings and root beer in a frosty mug.
