Annual Garden Party at the Original Governor’s Mansion
If you've always wanted to visit the Original Montana Governor's Mansion in Helena, now is your chance.
The Original Governor's Mansion in Helena, Montana, will be open for its annual garden party on Saturday, August 10, from 10 AM to 2 PM.
Refreshments, traditional lawn games, and traditional music will be going on.
Even if you don't live in Montana's capital city, this event will definitely be worth the drive.
Montana's Historic Governor Mansion
All are invited to the annual Governor's Mansion garden party!
The original Governors Mansion in Helena served Montana's first families from 1913 to 1959.
The mansion showcases impressive Queen Anne-style architecture with furnishings and artifacts from the era.
Information for self-guided tours will be available for you to attend.
Volunteers will also be on-site to answer questions about the mansion.
Montana Governors Mansion Garden Party
During the event, visitors will have the opportunity to try out traditional lawn games.
These games include ring toss, lawn, bowling, and many more.
Local musicians and the Dearborn String Trio provide timeless music throughout the day.

Unfortunately, the original governor's mansion is not ADA-compliant.
There are stairs up to the front porch and two flights of stairs inside the house.
The Original Governor’s Mansion is located at 304 No. Ewing St.
