What Happens When Montana ER Doctors Aren’t Getting It Right
Emergency Room Drama Out Of Montana
I have had a few people recently have the same experience while visiting a Montana Emergency Room. These people have reported going to the ER with stomach pain and being told the same story. "You have Marijuana Toxicity. Stop smoking weed and you will be fine."
They were told that now that it is legal in Great Falls the levels of THC are higher than they used to be and it is causing people to be sick. The only problem with their logic is...
EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE PATIENTS HAD SOMETHING ELSE WRONG.

Going To The Emergency Room With A Stomach Ache?
There were examples where these patients were all told the same thing initially, sent home only to continue exhibiting symptoms and end up back in the same or another Emergency Room. Once they got to the root of the problem there were issues anywhere from Ulcers, to a stomach bug to the Flu. The problem I am concerned about is the amount of time these patients all had to suffer while waiting for a doctor to actually listen to their concerns.
What is with the Emergency Room Doctors assuming that because a person smokes marijuana (or ingests) that there could not possibly be any other issue at hand but rather than take the time to look into the symptoms they make a rash assumption and punish the user.
The recourse? People will stop telling doctors they partake in cannabis. Which could create other issues down the road.
