It's that time of year.  Time for concerts to ring in the holiday season across the Electric City.  And boy are there a lot of them!

Starting off, the Great Falls Symphony is putting on their Christmas concert, titled simply "Christmas", at 3:00pm on December 4th at the Mansfield Theater.  Two of the pieces are music from the movie "Polar Express" and Leroy Anderson's classic "Sleigh Ride".  You can find more information or buy tickets here.

Then, we move over to the Great Falls Public Schools concerts.  The schedule can be a little tricky to describe or follow, but I'll do my best.  Here's a link to the GFPS Fine Arts Calendar for December.

Great Falls High goes first, with concerts on December 5th and 6th, both starting at 7:00pm.  Different groups are in each concert, but the top three groups, the Chamber Orchestra, Delphian Choir, and Symphonic Band, will perform at both.  Check the calendar I linked above to find out what group is playing in which concert.

C. M. Russell has three concerts the following week, one on December 12th at 7:00pm and two on December 13th at 6:00pm and 8:00pm.  Again, check the calendar to find out what group is playing.

East Middle School also has three concerts, on December 8th, 13th, and 15th.  North Middle School has two, on the 8th and 15th.

The elementary school programs are too numerous to mention, so again, I recommend you check the GFPS Fine Arts Department calendar.

Enjoy!
